Warm Greetings from the The City of Joy, Kolkata. On behalf of the organizing Committee of the ASICON 2025, it is my great excitement and  pleasure to invite you for the 85th Annual Conference of the Association of  Surgeons of India to be held at Kolkata between 15.12.2025 to 18.12.25. The conference will be held at the state of the art Convention centre at New Town, Kolkata, The Biswa Bangla Convention Centre.

ASICON 2025 is going to be a landmark conference of the Association of Surgeons of India with participation of huge number of delegates and I am sure you will not miss this great event at Kolkata. We are  going to invite a large number of National and international faculties and we are sure the conference will give you academic feast of international standard. There has been tremendous advancements in surgical field over the last few years and the conference will highlight the latest developments in all surgical fields  for imbibing these developments in your day to day surgical practice. The conference will be a platform for our postgraduate trainees to participate in Torrent Young surgeons award in addition to lots of awards for poster, video and paper presentations. The prestigious orations , guset lectures, and other scientific deliberations might help practicing surgeons  in advancements of your surgical skills.

In addition to scientific deliberation donot forget to explore the rich cultural heritage of the city of Kolkata. ASICON 2025 will not only be an academic feast but also will be a platform for meeting your old friends, make new friends, interact with stalwarts in the field of surgical science. Kolkata is a city that bears testimony to centuries of colonial history and it offers a rich cultural heritage to be explored when you visit. The vibrant city is famous for its Bengali cuisine,street foods, tantalizing sweets and Mishti Doi all ready for you to dig into for all the ASICON  days. You will enjoy the sunny winter days, mild and comforting, and visit the Victoria Memorial , Kalighat Temple, Dakshineswar temple, Rabindranth Tagore house, Mother Teressa Home  or cruise down the Hooghly River. Winter time is the time for large number of   handicrafts and  Handloom fairs in and around Kolkata. If you have time, you may also visit Gangasagar or make a short trip to Santiniketan  or visit the nearest hill station at Darjeeling.
